Principal Psychotherapist
Nadina Al-Jarrah MA,
MBACP, Senior Accredited, UKRC Reg, UKCP Reg Psychotherapist,
PG Dip Couns, CBT Cert, EMDR cert.
The Principal Practitioner is a Senior Accredited Therapist with full membership of the BACP (The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and has a Masters Degree. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the UKCP (The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.
In addition to her core training she has extended her professional development to include The Mindfulness Stress Reduction Programme, A Foundation in the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a foundation in EMDR for trauma and stress and IPT-Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
She has been a clinical supervisor for a number of years on the Birkbeck Masters Degree Course.
Her extensive work experience gathered over twenty five years as a practitioner and clinical supervisor, encompasses working in the NHS, business organisations, further and higher education, NAFSIYAT intercultural therapy centre, local authorities, charities, health insurer's and working with GP practices. She has also been in private practice for many years.
Her organisational work has included helping to set up in house occupational health resources and she has acted as a consultant for a number of organisations. She has been invited to speak at national conferences and to contribute to various training organisations.
Associate Therapists
All referrals made to external therapists will ensure they are qualified and registered with their training organisation.
Associate therapists are representative of the social and ethnic spectrum of London. They offer a range of modalities and are able to offer both short and longer term arrangements.
